PRESENTER: SYLVIA BROWN, LCSW, JD
Sylvia Brown (she/her) is a clinical social worker with a background as a practicing attorney and Law professor. While working as a trauma therapist in private practice in Philadelphia, she has maintained a particular interest in the legal and ethical frameworks in which psychotherapists work. She has presented to the PAGPS in the past on the duty of continuity of care when impaired or at the end of life and the creative ways clinicians can model how to face mortality with caring--for one's own loved ones, one's clients and one's professional colleagues.
